For Veterans

Welcome to MK9 Service Dogs.  We are glad you found us!

A veteran meeting new Service Dog in Training (SDiT) Ellie Jo (9 weeks old ) for the first time! SDiT Ellie Jo will be trained to support her veteran’s specific needs.

Our all-volunteer staff train and provide service dogs to veterans with physical and/or mental health needs at no cost to the veteran.  Eligible candidates are veterans who have served honorably in the military and incurred a disability either during military service or after leaving the military.   Veterans need to live in the continental United States to ensure that MK9s will be able to support the veteran and their service dog post placement.

In order to make a quality match with a veteran and a Service Dog in Training, our comprehensive matching process starts with filling out our veteran application.

To let us know you’d like an application, please send us a note using the form below or by emailing us at mk9servicedogs@gmail.com.

We will get back to you as soon as possible.

A veteran meeting new Service Dog in Training (SDiT) Orion (8 weeks old ) for the first time! SDiT Orion will be trained to support his veteran’s specific needs.

We look forward to working with you, and determining how MK9s may support you.  We appreciate your service to our country and the sacrifices you and your families have made defending our freedoms.
